SUMMARY

                I am currently working as an consultant for A Byte of Advice doing Oracle application, DBA work, and training, specializing in the ACS/LVS Seedpak LIMS. I worked as a Systems Engineer for Automated Compliance Systems. My duties were focused on client requested modifications to the Seedpak LIMS. My duties have ranged from software support to designing software. My primary duties included customizing the base product for clients. I have instructed courses in Oracle application development at A Byte of Advice, ACS, and ITAS as well as software development and packaged software at CSU Sacramento.

EXPERIENCE

05/96-Present            President/Technical Advisor/Trainer for A Byte of Advice (FTE) a LIMS consulting group. Full Oracle (7.x) product support and development for LIMS applications.  DBA assistance and technical advisor.  Developed and redesigned applications written in Oracle SQL*Forms 3.x & Dev2000 and ACS IDXL for clients on-line production systems.  Trained end users and DBAs on the LIMS software, Oracle DBA duties, and software coding using Oracle tools and IDXL.  Major clients are in the environmental analytical industry.

01/94-05/96            Systems Engineer for Automated Compliance Systems (FTE) Developed and supported Oracle (6.x, 7.x) based Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) applications written in SQL*Forms 3.x and IDXL.  Taught classes in the ACS base product (Seedpak1, Seedpak2, Seedpak3) and Oracle (SQL*Plus, SQL*DBA, SQL*Forms) and IDXL. Designed class lecture outline for all courses. On-site development and training with clients end users and DBAs using their on-line systems.
